LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL SAILING TEAM

About High School Sailing

Enrollment in high school sailing is open to students attending any Portland/Vancouver area high school, public or private. Previous sailing experience is recommended but not required. All participants must be able to swim, commit to regular practices, and provide their own life jackets and appropriate sailing clothing. Parents are expected to share in the volunteer duties at weekly practices or weekend regattas.

Register here for the fall season High School Sailing Team. This season will incorporate Laser sailing as the Northwest Interscholastic Sailing Association (NWISA) has elected to incorporate a third division of Lasers at regattas.

420’s and Lasers will both be utilized by this program on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. The boat you sail will be determined by the team coaches. The boat you will sail at practice will be based on interest, attitude, dedication, attendance, and upcoming regattas.

The Fall Season will be capped at 45 sailors. Please register and submit payment early to guarantee your spot. Registration is on a first come, first served basis. There will be a separate registration for spring after the season is over.
