This is Lincoln's fourth consecutive state tournament appearance and second straight PIL title (since joining the PIL Iast year). The Lincoln girls golf team is led by Coach Molly Edmunds.   The Lincoln girls golf team wrapped up another undefeated PIL Season last week by winning their final league match at Rose City Golf Course.

The team is led by senior and #1 Individual PIL Champion Morgan Sloan, who will be playing in her fourth State Tournament.  Joining Sloan will be freshman Sophia Zhang (#2 in the PIL), senior Sophia Fraser (#4 in the PIL) playing in her second State Tournament, junior Sofia McDermott (#11 in the PIL), and senior Anna Hall (#19 in the PIL).

Not only did the team win every match, they continually had three golfers in the top 5 at every PIL match, including Morgan Sloan winning individual medalist honors at each match.

Throughout the season, Coach Molly Edmunds successfully coached the girls in each tournament this season and helped each girl achieve individual scoring records throughout the year. Each girl including Sophomore Kelly Ryu consistently contributed scores in each match this season.

The girls will compete in the State Tournament at Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks, Oregon May 16th and 17th.
